FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER 2022

Dear All

We have decided to resume activities in the middle of this month, when on February 15th Mr Peter Stibbons, Digital Director of Paston Footprints and his associate, Mr James Mindham, will give a presentation at the church entitled:

GRESHAM CASTLE- observations and revelations!

Peter and James will be explaining what has been uncovered about the Castle and how the 3D representation was achieved. The event starts at 7.00pm and will be free of charge, with complimentary refreshments. I do hope that many of you will join us.

On March 1st , which is Shrove Tuesday, we will hold our usual Pancake celebration in the Village Hall- details to follow, as we shall plan this at our upcoming Committee meeting on 9th February.

Another date for your diary, is Saturday March 19th  when we will hold our annual Folk and Friends Concert in the church. Again details to follow.

There will be a further lecture on March 29th this time from Tom Williamson, Professor of History at UEA, a landscape historian and archaelologist.

We expect to add to this calendar of events in April and May, prior to the project’s conclusion at the end of May.

Best wishes

Julia Drury, Chair The Friends of All Saints’ Gresham
